Aquarium Set Up - October 2005

Bought some White Clouds and Neons, this now make the tank overstocked if all the fish grow to full size. See the Head Count page for more details.
 
2 October 2005
Sunday 		Replaced the white and course filter pads. Removed some dead leaves and snails.

Changed about 25 litres of water (10%) using 10ml of AquaSafe.

Water Test Results

  • pH 7.6-8.0 - Unchanged
  • KH 15 - Unchanged
  • GH >6 - Unchanged
  • NO2 (Nitrite) 0 - Unchanged
  • NO3 (Nitrate) 25 - Up

 The higher nitrate levels may be due to some of the dead plants. The tank is still suffering from the green slime algae.
