LM2596 DC-DC Converter High Efficiency Step Down Voltage Regulator from 3.2-46V to 1.25-35V 3A Adjustable Power Supply Step Down Module.

Connect to power source, turn the blue potentiometer and adjust the voltage as required. Use a multimeter monitor the voltage. Turn clockwise to step up voltage and counter-clockwise to step down voltage.
Factory default is set to a high voltage, you need to contra rotate about 7-8 turns before the voltage starts ramping down, 1 turn changes voltage about +/- 1V.
The input and output interface can not be reversed. The input voltage must be at least 1.5V higher than the output voltage.
It is recommended to keep the current under 2.5A and to use the heat sink when working for long periods.
